These Terms of Service govern your use of Zainur's website and the digital invitation websites we create for you. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Payment & Refund Policy, which form part of this agreement.
Acceptance of terms
Zainur Digital Studio ("Zainur", "we", "us") provides personalised digital invitation websites for weddings and other celebrations. By confirming an order or making a payment, you ("the customer") agree to these Terms of Service.
Our service
Zainur builds a personalised invitation website using the ready-made Zainur template you choose and the features included in your selected package. Normal ready-made templates are available to both Starter and Standard. Starter uses the selected template's fixed, curated colour palette. Standard customers may request an event-theme colour adaptation during the WhatsApp discussion. Zainur may adjust requested shades or contrast where reasonably necessary to preserve readability and the quality of the selected design. A Standard colour adaptation does not include changes to the template's layout, typography, decorative style, structure or overall design unless separately agreed. Major visual or structural redesign work belongs to a custom service when available.
The usual process is: choose a template and package, provide the required event details, confirm the scope and total price, pay the 50% advance, receive a preview, request the included corrections, approve the final preview, pay the remaining 50%, and then have the invitation published.
Order timing and short-notice orders
To leave enough time for preparation, customer review and corrections, Zainur recommends placing a Starter order around 7–10 days before the event and a Standard order around 10–14 days before the first listed event. Earlier orders are always welcome. These are recommended lead times, not automatic completion guarantees.
Any preparation estimate begins only after Zainur has received the required event information and the 50% advance. Missing or late details, photographs, correction requests, approvals or other customer responses may move the expected completion time.
If an event is very close, Zainur may accept the order only when workload and the requested scope allow it. Zainur will tell you before asking for the 50% advance whether the requested completion target can reasonably be accepted. If Zainur cannot accept that target, we will not take the order on the understanding that it will be ready by that deadline. Any accepted target still depends on timely customer information, corrections and approval, and on circumstances within Zainur's reasonable control.
Website hosting and links
Your invitation will be published using a Zainur-managed website link. A custom domain is not included unless clearly mentioned in your selected package.
Customer content and permission
You confirm that you have permission to provide and publish all names, photographs, event details, venue information and other content submitted to Zainur.
Third-party services
Zainur uses third-party services to build, host and deliver parts of the service, including Cloudflare Pages, GitHub, WhatsApp/Meta, Google services and jsDelivr. Invitation websites may also link to services such as Google Maps and calendar applications. Those providers operate under their own terms, privacy practices, technical limits and availability. Zainur will manage these services reasonably but cannot control provider outages, suspensions, policy changes or technical limits.
Hosting period and renewal
Your invitation will remain online until six months after the event date, or six months after the final listed event for a multi-event invitation. After that period, Zainur may archive or remove the invitation unless you purchase a renewal. Renewal is LKR 1,000 for one additional year and keeps the existing invitation online; redesigns, major content changes, extra storage and custom-domain renewal are not included. Acceptable use
You must not use a Zainur invitation website for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, hateful, harmful, sexually explicit, infringing, or otherwise unauthorized content. You must have the rights and permissions needed for every name, photograph, logo, message and other item you ask us to publish.
Zainur may decline or remove content that reasonably appears to violate these terms, applicable law, another person's rights, or a third-party provider's acceptable-use rules. Where a request is declined after work has already started, any payment or refund will be handled under the Payment & Refund Policy and based on work already completed.
Previews and corrections
Before publishing, we send you a preview of your invitation. Please review it carefully - names, dates, spelling and venue details are your responsibility to confirm. The correction allowance for your order will be shown in the package details or confirmed with you before work begins. Requests beyond the agreed allowance, or changes requested after publishing, may involve an additional charge.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details and any content in good time
- Confirm you have permission to share names and photographs of others
- Review and approve the preview carefully before publishing
- Pay the 50% advance before work begins and the remaining 50% after final preview approval and before publication
- Keep your invitation link private if you do not want it publicly shared
Website availability
Hosting providers may apply technical limits, maintenance, service changes, acceptable-use rules or outages. Zainur will take reasonable steps to keep your invitation available during the agreed hosting period and, where practical, restore or move the site if a provider issue affects it. Continuous or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed when the cause is outside Zainur's reasonable control.
Intellectual property
Zainur retains ownership of its template designs, layouts and code. You retain ownership of your personal content - names, photographs, event details and messages - which we use only to build and host your invitation as described in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zainur is not responsible for indirect losses, missed guests, or issues caused by third-party services, incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms removes or limits a customer right or a Zainur responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Sri Lankan law.
Changes to these terms
Zainur may update these Terms of Service as our services or legal responsibilities change. The updated version and its effective date will be published on this page.
